Google adds a new feature that will truly spice up the usability of Gmail further. In the ‘Whats New’ page in Gmail, you can see the latest addition to the features which is the ‘Voice and Video Chat’. It is a plug in that will enable you to chat via your Gmail. It incorporated the Vidyo technology. Vidyo offers high quality multi point video conferencing. Google Talk only provides for voice conversations from the time it started. And the web version of Gtallk in Gmail was always media free. This time it is very different. The new feature will enable the Gmail users talk and see each other with both Voice and Video capability. It is one step further from the Google Talk’s feature which is limited to voice capability.

Im wondering how the the new Microsoft CEO will tackle the competition of ‘free’ applications and source codes. Although their products are doing quite well on the server software side, like the Windows Server. It works most especially well with the Exchange email server and the under rated but very efficient collaborator server, which is the SharePoint. These applications and products have certainly ripened much to the delight of users. They are extremely easy to use and set up and manage. The Exchange successfully manages email, contacts and calendars for the thousands of its customer organizations worldwide. Apple recently adopted Exchange. With its iPhone, now easily syncs with Microsoft’s servers. Future compatibility and support for Exchange in the coming OS X is well under way. This is good news for Apple and Microsoft lovers as well.

Yuwie is a social network that pays you. The goal is to get paid for what they are doing.Yuwie works like this… a person signs up for an invitation, he then passes this on to another friend of his. A chain is created this way. And that’s how you are paid up for it. You are building a network and the chain can go for ten levels. They pay you for blogging, making new friends and talking to people. Many people get interested to join because they are able to make more new friends and still get paid for it. This is great for home based people. When you have a lot of time to spare, you just log on and blog on.Yuwie is one innovative piece of work where you can enjoy life and earn at the same time.

Smile. You’re about to encounter the Kensington VideoCAM family - high quality, competitively priced Digital PC Cameras that make it trouble-free to take and send snapshots and video clips online. When you use Kensington Digital PC Camera, you’ll see why the Kensington VideoCAM’s state-of-the-art technology is going to transform the way people communicate. Whether e-mailing still photos and video clips or videoconferencing online, you’ll be looking good - at a great price. Live video conferencing saves money on phone bills and creates more intimate and effective communication. Imagine explaining directly to your client the status of an important project. Imagine singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to a face, not a phone receiver. Just plug the VideoCam into your USB port, load the drivers, and you are ready to go. No interface card required. This tiny device fits on or near your computer. Lean forward or backwards; the person on the other end will still see you. And why wait to show your newly decorated home to your friend - send snapshots over the Internet right now! The tethered cord gives you six feet of range to position and move around with the camera.

Need a complicated flambe recipe? No problem. Interested in traveling to Spain but clueless about the tourist spots? Just a second.

These days, all it takes is a few keystrokes and a click of the mouse. The important thing though is knowing where and how to look for the information you need. And the search begins with search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Dogpile.

If you are a bit paranoid about your browsing security, you might want to try Google’s new feature: the safe browsing. Safe browsing allows Google to screen first the website before the page downloads, thus minimizing brute website attacks and other hacking and malware troubles. All you have to do is to put “http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=” on the address bar and affix the intended website you wish to visit after equal sign. This is in fact a bit of a hassle since you need to do this every time you are to visit a website. If you don’t want to undergo this process, you might want to shift to Yahoo!. They have partnered with McAfee to provide internet browsers secure browsing.

NY Times, one of the most prominent and well respected broadsheets in the United States, unveiled their latest feature: the Times Machine. It is beneficial for those who wish to track back to the previous news articles published by New York Times as it acts like a time machine—letting you read articles as early as the 1850’s. The print version is available only for those who have home subscriptions, however, those who are not subscribed can view a glimpse of some of the broadsheets published before, complete with their original appearance. For those who want to relive the times, better subscribe now and reminisce the past.

You can install add-ons, skins and other stuff to personalize it with just a click of a button. Mozilla promises to release their Firefox 3 within the following weeks—however, another Firefox baby is coming on its way: Firefox 3.1. Mozilla promises to release their 3.1 browser six weeks after they have released their Firefox 3. It promises to have a more stable browser and is said to use much lower memory compared to their 2.0 release.

Of all the companies and/or manufacturers who promise technological edges over the other, who do you think is the most popular? A research conducted by InfoPro showed that Cisco still leads the race. A veteran in the technological business with new, exciting and unique gadget releases regularly this is the reason why companies choose them over the others. InfoPro’s method of research involved doing one on one interviews with Fortune 1000 companies that lasted an hour each. More than 50 percent of the companies said that Cisco has been their number 1 choice. Though this is the case, Cisco should look over their shoulder for the 2nd most popular computer manufacturer, Juniper. Almost 20 percent of the companies prefer Juniper (nothing for Cisco to worry about, really. But, who knows?).
